Another European Bash in 28mm. A French attacking force managed to get the Young Guard, Guard Cavalry and Prussians, attacking hoards of Russians (hiding behind a village).
Early Russian reinforcements gave the Russians a numerical advantage, which lead the sneaky French to setting up firing lines and hiding behind hills in a very British like manner.
The Elites and Veterans of the Yound Guard held of spirited attack by the Russian Division of Keith’ov whilst David’ov tried to make a numerical advantage of cavalry pay off in the centre.

Timely French arrivals saw the Grenadiers arrive, and finally the line infantry and cavalry Divisions to turn the numbers finally in favour of the French. A slow paced battle fought over a weekend. Now we just need more 15mm stuff!
With our Divisional cards we never really knew what would turn up when, and a French attacking army was on the defensive for much of the game, with small number of good quality troops.

Eventually though David got to see all of his French forces deployed against him.
