  • Foily flappy roof goes!

Looks like it has been upgraded to “proper” wood (type substitue).

  • Back to North Devon

In order to “finish off” the last game,  Sunday morning saw a return visit “up north” The terrain had be rolled back 2ft to give the allies room to retreat and some reserve space to move around in, Having set up a well organised attack the previous visit as French, I was asked to change…

  • Before the rains came

Least before the rain came – a roof arrived. Due to late working and increasing darkness – could only manage a early afternoon shot. Dont think wood and tin-foil makes it greatly water resistant, but at least it is a start.  Least the shine will be picked up from space! I’m sure there is still…

  • Builders actually turn up for a change

And did something Obviously I would have liked being actually able to park my vehicle at my own home when they had gone, but obviously my thoughts count for nowt!   Gone by 2PM, guess that counts as a full day.

  • Escapades in North Devon

North Devon became the place to be over the weekend as a scenario based on Waterloo took place.  Initially the 1st and 2nd Infantry division press on Papelotte, supported by Milhaud’s 4th Cavalry Corp, and the Guard Light Cavalry Divison.   The infantry from the old guard have just turned up.  As the game progressed…

  • Concrete in!

Might not be set, but it is the ground!

  • Ready for Concrete

It’s almost like building work has started. Just eight months late. Other than that it is on schedule.
