Sleepers
When you need loads of raised beds (not sure what that means but Tamsin tell’s me it is a “thing”) Meanwhile – further up the garden, we find out how far a 25m extension lead will take a hedge trimmer. Conclusion – not far enough – we need another one.

Bathroom upgrade
Our 1970’s bathroom light and heater combined has finally been removed. We also have an extractor fitted and a new Thermostatic Shower upgrading the eldery system we acquired on purchase. Also the big bright white light, makes everything look less pink. Now we just need the boiler sorting so there is some warmth, though now…

Nuther Weekend – More Progress
this weekend sees the old windows removed – and bricked up. Do we notice any drop in light ? so far – no Now we just need a pole for the velux and we can actually open them.

What a difference a weekend makes!
So now we have a ceiling, 2 velux windows (have to order a pole so we can open them) and insulation. Can now stay in the kitchen without wearing gloves. Sterling work from the builders Next up – plinth for the LPG out the front, and brick up the windows!

Easter Madness
Forget eggs – DIY is the name of the game Kitchen Stage 1 – bye bye low ceiling. Left with the builders to sort Meanwhile – upstairs Tamsin and Jackie have already sorted the walls. Andy sorts the floor. Just need the coving and Skirting board in
